Perl Pigments, LLC was established in 2003 with the goal of supplying critical zinc pigments to various industrial applications. Headquartered in Northern New Jersey (minutes from New York City), we operate out of four strategically located warehouses throughout the USA.
This family owned business is dedicated to serving our clients with superior quality zinc
pigments and outstanding service. We offer truckload and LTL service with JIT delivery to our
clients throughout the USA and globally. We consider ourselves to be partners with our
customers and have a long term perspective focused on our foundation of Reliability,
Responsibility and Relationship. We look forward to serving you.
President
Allen Perl
Allen started his career in the metal business working as a supply chain manager and metal
trader at Associated Metals and Minerals. Afterwards, he was recruited by global metal trading house Phillip Brothers, based in New York City and became a non-ferrous metal trader at this commodity house giant. Focusing on the growth in the zinc metal market, Allen accepted a position as Vice President of sales for Meadowbrook Company and Eagle Zinc Company supplying key zinc pigments for industrial applications.
In 2003, Allen founded Perl Pigments, LLC with a focus on supplying zinc oxide and zinc dust to
the paint and coatings, ceramics, chemical, rubber and tire industries.
On a personal note, Allen enjoys analyzing the financial markets, is an avid tennis player and
enjoys time on the links. Mostly he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family at the New Jersey shore.
Vice President, Sales
Zachary Perl
After graduating with honors and receiving his BS in finance, Zachary went to work in the real
estate industry for 5 years before he joined the Perl Pigments team in early 2019. Since his
employment with Perl Pigments began, Zachary has brought a fresh energy to the company and has worked tireless to further develop relationships with current clients, while simultaneously looking to expand the business and bring new clients onboard. His day-to-day responsibilities include sales, client relations, purchasing, logistics and inventory management.
In his spare time Zachary enjoys playing golf, watching baseball and football, traveling and
spending time with his wife and children.
